PhiBase VPS DownTime/Technical Issues Reports
The Synergy FXOpen real account is running both EURUSD and USDCHF with fixed lot size 0.1 on a start capital of 3000. This account was started as a test account to provide trade reference. The risk levels using the fixed lot size is very high, since when money management is used for same capital, the EURUSD trade size would be about 0.03 and for USDCHF it would be 0.02
When Synergy v3.2 was released, we had Birt's (eareview.net) real account to provide proper reference along with money management. This was in effect until December when the VPS restart did not reactivate the EA leaving a set of trades orphaned with out the EA controlling it. The trades closed for profit on all other accounts, but these had to be manually closed after the site admin's return in January. This account will be getting back on track, but it missed all the trades between December to January (over 500 pips on EURUSD).
The FxPRO demo account with $3000 start capital is running with allocation 8 for EURUSD and allocation 5 for USDCHF, but the minimum lot and lot increment allowed for this account is 0.1 (mini lot). So the EA is trading with the minimum allowed 0.1 lots. This again is on high risk.
The third party accounts also started on $5000 start capital, but the minimum lot size allowed is again 0.1, so the money management is not in effect.
Since January, we have made it a policy to run reference real accounts in-house with proper risk levels only. The new reference real account will be operational after the release. The reference accounts will be run in-house and properly funded with a
start capital of $6000 to allow for proper money management and correct risk levels
